What a party! And what a thrill it was to film it.
No one has published more exceptional writers over the last 100 years than Alfred A. Knopf and they held their centennial celebration in a suitably grand setting: the main lobby of the New York Public Library’s flagship Schwartzman Building. In capturing it, we wanted to be as unobtrusive as possible, so we sent a small team with compact equipment and were able to get beautifully intimate footage of some of the worlds greatest writers: Toni Morrison, Robert Caro, Sharon Olds, and James Elroy, as well as a special lullaby from the one and only Patti Smith.

Allow us to introduce Harbor Light Coaching, New York! It was an exciting challenge to create their complete brand identity. We began by finding a name, logo, and visual language that would bridge the gap between the founder’s west-coast style and the Manhattan clientele she now serves. Then we designed a clean, elegant website, featuring an introductory video that shows the setting of their online sessions.

Here was a fun website to do: a kind of interactive treasure hunt to launch the debut album from the band Buffalo Domingo. It’s all over the map in the best possible way.

And, of course, we’re still the primary producers of podcasts for our friends at The New York Academy of Sciences: The latest two being a look at the use of systems science in the study of nutrition and an exploration of “proof of concept centers“, an exciting new way that innovative technologies are being developed and brought to market.
So what’s next? Glad you asked!
We’re in production now for a new series of documentary videos about the excellent work that the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey is doing to preserve and protect the unique ecosystem of the Delaware Bay
We’re also very excited to be creating a new online home for our friends at LAPA Fundraising
Stay tuned for news about both!
