David will be giving his presentation “Elevating Your Pitch: Making the Case for Your Cause, Quickly” twice more this year – first at the Foundation Center’s Annual Open House on November 10th, and again on November 16th at AFP Weschester’s Annual Philanthropy Day.

It’s never been easier for nonprofit organizations to produce their own media, but there’s also never been more competition for the eyes and ears of your audience. So how to do it well? David presented the talk “Creating Content that Connects” at the Foundation Center – some thoughts and tips on standing apart and rising above.

David was proud to deliver a masterclass on effective nonprofit communications to the fellows at the Ben Appelbaum Foundation.

Kerry was as enthusiastic as ever to present at NYN FundCon 2016, where David also spoke on the panel “A Fundraising Mindset: The Importance of Focused, Goal-Driven Thinking” (his remarks start around 45:26).

The first and most basic form of institutional communication is the elevator pitch – what do you do, and why should people care? It’s not always so easy to put that in a way that’s succinct and engaging.
