NETWise
Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation
Launch SiteBeing diagnosed with a life-threatening illness is terrifying, confusing, and overwhelming. How could we provide an educational series for people in that position that would be informative, comforting, compelling, and clear? This was the challenge from the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation that led to the creation of NETWise – a podcast series for people living with Neuroendocrine Cancer and their families and caregivers.
In an NPR-style high-quality audio documentary format, clips from interviews with many of the word’s leading experts in the treatment of NET Cancer are interwoven with voiceover narration from NETRF’s Director of Education and Outreach, music, sound effects, and heartfelt clips of real NET patients telling their own stories of survivorship.
In addition to producing the series and collaborating with NETRF’s internal team to write it, we wrote and designed a series of supplemental graphic fliers highlighting key points of interest.
